Lumina is a suspended display that holds bottles in ultra clear tempered glass cradles carried on aircraft grade steel cables, so the collection appears to float. It is drawn for the room, anchored floor to ceiling or wall to wall.
Is Lumina a floating wine wall or a wine rack?
A floating wine wall. Cable runs, glass, lighting and climate control are designed together for the space, and Lumina is most often the feature wall of a room with storage carrying the balance of the collection behind it.
Is the glass strong enough to hold the bottles?
Yes. The cradles are ultra clear tempered glass and the cables are aircraft grade steel, tensioned to carry the full load with a substantial safety margin. Every installation is engineered and tested before it ships.
At what angle are the bottles held?
Bottles sit at a precise zero or fifteen degree angle, chosen so the wine stays in contact with the cork. Edges are polished so labels are never abraded.
How many bottles does a Lumina display hold?
Capacity follows the span and whether the run is single, double or triple depth. Our designers model exact capacity against your collection and the room before production.
Can Lumina be built as a floating wine cellar?
