Welcome to our weekly installment of "Wine Cellar of the Week"!
As mentioned in Monday's post: New 'Bordeaux' Stain & Lacquer Elite Kit Rack, we have a new finish in town, but are you aware of the original stain & lacquer option in the Elite Kit Rack Collection, called Port? It's once again a beautiful finish to our All-Heart Redwood species. Even when you're doing a smaller project with a few pieces of racking, you can make it look even better with the stain & lacquer option.
Even small projects are just as special as large ones!
In this series of the Wine Cellar of the Week, we'd like to showcase a wonderful little project from a local client that was looking to not only store their wine collection, but create a great little space in which they can sit and enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying each other's company. We worked alongside the client, step by step, helping and modifying their vision until it was just perfect. As the pieces in the Elite Kit Rack are modular, we chose and placed the right sized modules to suit their space and their needs. Located in a old renovated tiny bedroom, there was more than enough space to include bin storage, individual racking, a corner shelf display for their special bottles as well a sitting area and a tasting table. Imagine what you could do with that small, unused room in your house!
It doesn't have to be complicated or fussy, it just needs to be right for you!
As we visited the space before finalising the design, there was no question that the Port Stain & Lacquer from the Elite Kit Rack Collection was the perfect finishing selection. The client spoke very highly of their contractor, who was building them their old, vintage-looking door, which has a beautiful distressed look. Knotted in the grooves was the perfect colour match to the Port. It was a match-made in heaven.
And in the end, after a few consultations, the wine cellar turned out to be just as lovely and inviting as the clients themselves. I do hope they are enjoying their space.
